The USA Fencing and United Travel Program 

USA Fencing is proud to announce a continued partnership with United Airlines who will provide a discount on travel to USFA athletes, staff, organization/club members, and their families attending USOC recognized events and other official team business.
 
USA Fencing has included all National competitions, as well as all competitions on the USFA International calendar.
 
How to book travel with United:
 
We have been assigned event code 565ED to be used when purchasing tickets on United or United Express flights (code share flights are not eligible for discounted fares. This means that International travel where a segment includes a non-UA flight, that non-UA segment is not eligible for the discount).  The event code assigned to each NGB will activate fare discounts and track contribution to travel revenue.  The United Airlines system will track our usage, and will then determine the amount of free travel certificates earned by the USFA.  
 

There are two ways to book discount air travel with United: by phone or internet. 

Phone - United Olympic Desk - 800-841-0460:

     * You may continue to call the United Olympic Desk at 800-841-0460 Monday through Friday from 10:00am to 8:00pm (EST)

    * The $25 reservations and booking fee will be waived for all NGBs utilizing the Olympic Desk for USOC recognized events reservations.

    * United is pleased to offer a 2-10% discount on published domestic fares and 7-15% discount on International fares for all US Olympic recognized events and meetings when calling the United Olympic Desk.  Discounts are available on United and United Express flights as well as United-marketed Air Canada and Lufthansa code share flights.  Discount varies by booking class and at time of ticketing.  Certain published fares may not be eligible for the discount.

Internet - http://www.united.com/usoc

     * You may now purchase your domestic tickets online and receive a 5% discount off the lowest applicable internet fares. By booking your travel online you will receive the lowest guaranteed united.com fares and will never pay a booking fee.

    * To book travel online visit www.united.com/usoc. Enter the requested travel information and your five digit event code (565ED) where prompted. Click the search button to display available flights and discounted fares.

  International Travel:

    * All international travel (with the exception of Canada) must continue to be booked by calling the United Olympic Desk.  Discounts for international travel are not available on united.com/usoc.
