Summer Nationals

The Summer National Championships are typically held in late June/early July. As the largest fencing tournament in the world it hosts fencers from around the country in 102 events over 10 days and hosts approximately 4,000 individuals that make up nearly 6,000 competitors and over 300 teams. Fencers must be US citizens or permanent residents and qualify to compete in this tournament. This is the last tournament for selection of the members of the team to the World Veterans Championships. In addition, Youth 12 and Youth 10 events held during this tournament are Youth Open events and participants do not have to be US citizens or permanent residents.

Confirmed Entries:
National Tournament confirmation letters and athlete packets are no longer being mailed by the National Office. If you registered for the tournament via fax or mail you must have the stamped fax back (page three) as your proof the entry was received. If you registered for the tournament via online registration the confirmation email is your proof the entry was received. The stamped fax back and confirmation email do not guarantee eligibility. Please confirm that your name appears on the Confirmed Entrant List for each event you registered for. This is proof your entry was received and you are eligible for the event. If your name is not on the list or you are not registered for the correct events please email info@usfencing.org. The Confirmed Entrant list for each National Tournament is updated weekly and you can access each list by clicking the appropriate link below. Print and read the athlete packet for each tournament you plan to attend.

Note: The tournament confirmation materials contain the only official schedule. In the case of any discrepancy between the confirmation materials and the website, the schedule in the confirmation materials will prevail. Please note that the registration times, if listed, reflect the CLOSE OF CHECK-IN. Fencers must check-in for each event, during the hour long check-in time indicated or they will be withdrawn from the event. Fencers must check in each day they are competing.
The check-in times will be posted on this website approximately one week after the first entry deadline.
