Club Resource Kit
Welcome to the "Club Resource Kit", a compilation of resources posted and made available for clubs, divisions and sections.
If you have examples of successful marketing and PR activities that you have developed, or any other club resources to add to this reservoir of ideas and tools, please email Alan Kuver at alankuver@aol.com.
The Resource Kit
This template is set up the way that media like to see the information, with explicit instructions on what to include and how to present the information, along with a place for your club logo and already including the USFA logo.
This press release can be easily modified by clubs describing various community events that focus on the Olympic results.
This e- booklet was written by USFA member Mary Griffith, who has provided a basic PR guide covering the reasons for doing publicity, the basics of news releases, media kits, maintaining media lists, trade shows, classes and other community events. This helpful resource includes:
- Creating Your Identity (logos, grammar/usage, voice)
- Create & Maintain Your Website (why to have one, what to put on it, dos & don'ts)
- Spread Your News (how write releases & other materials, create a media list, print & broadcast interviews, etc.)
- Be Active in Your Community (demos & classes, trade shows/fairs, other community outreach)
Be Visible - Hang a Banner
What is an effective, low cost way to get the message out to the community? A great big, beautiful, multi-colored banner! No media cost, no billboard rental, just hang it in your window or across the building. Click here for easy USFA approved banners that are shipped right to your door-step for about half the price of printing at a local sign shop! Also, Zaavy will pay the USFA a 10% donation on all orders. Anyone that logs into Zaavy and uses the code: 357239 will be supporting fencing - so hand that number out to your church, your company and your family reunion.
