Fencers must be U.S. citizens or permanent residents and must have qualified to compete in this tournament. Also, this is the last tournament for selection of the members of the team to the World Veterans Championships.
Competitions
At all USA Fencing National Tournaments, athletes compete in each of 6 weapons:
Men's Epee | Men's Foil | Men's Sabre | Women's Epee | Women's Foil | Women's Sabre
At the USA Fencing National Championship, the following levels will compete:
Youth 14 | Veteran 40-49 | Veteran 50-59 | Veteran 60-69 | Veteran 70+
Division IA | Division II | Division III | Senior Team
At the July NAC (NAC F), the following levels will compete:
Youth 10* | Youth 12* | Under 16 (Cadet)** | Under 19 (Junior)**
Under 19 Team** | Veteran Team**
*For Y12 and Y10 athletes, you must either be on the Point Standings or attended an SYC or RYC during the current season and competed in the weapon and age group you are entering. There are no citizenship requirements for Y12 and Y10 as this is not a national championship for these two age groups.
**For Under 16, Under 19, Under 19 Team and Veteran Team, there are no citizenship requirements for these events as they are not considered a national championship.
