For registration accuracy, speed and environmentally-conscious reasons, U.S.A. Fencing has moved to an online registration system. The point standings were imported to provide an online registration method for those athletes who meet the "age exception" for competition. We strongly encourage the use of this system. However, we understand that special cases do arise and therefore have entry forms available. All paper entries will have a $10 processing fee.
Attention Athletes:
Division I National Championships have been moved to April; Division I events will not be held at USA Fencing National Championships in July.
Y10 & Y12 Fencers - as this is a qualifying tournament (must fence in an RYC or SYC), entries will remain pending until qualification is confirmed (results and program service fee are received by the National Office).
Youth 14 Teams – The Youth 14 team events are being provided as trial event at the April 2011 NAC ONLY; future Youth 14 team events are not guaranteed to be scheduled. There must be a minimum of 6 teams entered in a weapon event by the regular fee entry deadline for the event to be held.
Youth 14 teams will follow the same format, seeding and composition used for non-championship team events. Composition of all non-championship team events held at the national level will not have club or division affiliation requirements. Any three or four fencers that are gender-, age- and/or classification-eligible for the event may enter a team. [BoD, July 2010].
Foreign Fencers (Youth events only, Y10/Y12 qualification applies) - any individual who is not a US Citizen or Permanent Resident and represents another country - Individual Online Registration. Select Enter (tournament specific). Entry status will remain "pending" until information is verified. You will need to provide your current FIE number or non-USA Fencing federation information (fields in the Background & Int'l section of the profile; "FIE License #" and "Other National Member Info" respectively), country of citizenship and representing country. As qualification is required for Y10/Y12/Division I individual events, entries will remain pending until qualification is confirmed.
The Confirmed Entrants list is updated upon completion of the online entry and payment process. If you registered via fax, mail or email it will take 2-3 days to process the entry and appear on the Confirmed Entrant List. Please note: the point rankings are not integrated with our online system yet, there will be a lag time between what is posted in the Point PDFs (current) and what is reflected for ranking on the confirmed entrants list and in your profile - please check back for updates.
