Individual Preliminary Seeding Information (subject to change)
We are providing preliminary seeding information as of 28 February 11, as a courtesy. Questions or discrepancies should be sent to Tanya Brown or brought to the Bout Committee's attention by close of registration of that event.
Seeding includes anyone who has domestic points even if person is not entered. If you are not on the point standings, you will not appear on these preliminary seeding lists but will be seeding according to the seeding principles (Chapter 2 of the Athlete's Handbook)
Team Confirmed Entries
Veteran Men's Sabre Team, Veteran Women's Sabre Team and Veteran Women's Foil Team events were cancelled due to lack of entries.

Preliminary Seeding is posted to provide the teams an opportunity to verify the information for their fencers. If a team wishes to make any changes to the team, add a team captain, or believes there is a discrepancy in the information posted, please email Tanya Brown with your name, event and the details of the change, or communicated at the time of team check-in at the venue. If discrepancies are not reported to the Bout Committee by the close of check-in, the information stands as presented. We understand and appreciate the team unity that many of the teams have shown in the past. However, we ask that one and only one team captain or representative come to the team event table when called. The following procedures will be followed for teams:

At the Venue
- ALL Team Captains or representative will be required to check-in with the Team Events Bout Committee during the designated time to verify their team; once changes are made, no other changes will be allowed; Captains or representatives will need to remain present in the venue for fencer order determination.
- Table will be constituted and Team Captains or Representative will than determine fencer order.
- Higher seeded team would automatically be designated as the "winner of the coin flip" and assigned the 1-2-3 side (Match order: 3-6, 1-5, 2-4, 1-6, 3-4, 2-5, 1-4, 2-6, 3-5)
- Direct elimination from beginning of competition. Relay format, 9 bouts to a maximum score of 45 – increments of 5 touches or maximum time of 3 minutes for each bout. Fence off for 3rd.
- Seeding of Senior Teams is based on Senior National Points as of 10 days prior to the start of the National Championships and participating fencers’ classifications earned as of the appropriate deadlines for this NAC.
