Duke Energy Center (Hall A & B)
October 15, 2010 to October 18, 2010
Vendor Info
Vendor Set Up | Thursday, October 14, 2010
11 a.m. - 6 p.m.
All packages should be scheduled to arrive no earlier than the above date and should be self-addressed or addressed to USA Fencing. Plan to arrive no earlier than 11 a.m. and bring a cart for your own personal use.
The dock policy allows vendors to pull into the dock, unload their materials but then requires vehicles to be moved to a nearby parking lot or garage. After parking, vendors should return and load equipment into the hall. There are many parking options around the convention center, including numerous parking garages and lots within walking distance. Street parking meters are available throughout downtown and are free on weekends and after 5p.m. on weekdays.
In order to allow vehicles to come and go in the dock in an orderly fashion, please email your estimated arrival time, number of vehicles and vehicle types (SUV, box truck, semi, etc.) to j.bourne@usfencing.org no later than October 5, 2010.
There are two parking garages on the 6th Street side of the building with a covered skywalk to the building, as well as an open-air lot on the 5th street side of the building. There is no permanent parking on the dock. Please make dock arrangements directly with USA Fencing and not with the convention center dock representative.
For parking information, please see one the following two maps. Map 1 Map 2
Participant Information
Approximately 1700 athletes are registered for this event with approximately 2200 entries.
Booth Space
USA Fencing will send out emails to vendors approximately one month prior to the tournament that will include the venue layout and vendor booth locations. One electrical drop and tables will be provided by USA Fencing according to the size booth you paid for in which a standard booth is three tables across the front, two tables on each side and with a 3 ft. space between each booth. The width of booths will be as wide as those three tables. Please keep booth areas neat and clean (break down boxes, throw out trash etc.), as it is a reflection of your company and USA Fencing.
NOTE: Booth locations within the venues will be on a rotating basis throughout the year's tournaments. Exact booth size will vary depending upon venue table sizes; most venues provide standard 8 ft tables.
Vendor Breakdown | Monday, October 18, 2010
1 - 5 p.m.
All vendor equipment must be removed from the Duke Energy Convention Center by October 18, 2010. Parking in the loading dock for an extended period of time is prohibited as others will need this space as well. Please pack up all materials and move them to the dock area. At that time vendors are permitted to pull their cars into the dock to load and then must depart immediately upon completion of loading.
