Preliminary Seeding Information

Individual Preliminary Seeding Information (subject to change)
Preliminary Seeding is posted to provide the athletes an opportunity to verify information.  The column labeled "National Ranking" reflects the rank for that athlete and the code for ranking in that event based on the National Rolling Point Standings as of 10 days prior to the start of Summer Nationals.  Classification change deadline was June 21, 2010.  If an athlete believes there is a discrepancy in the information posted, please email Tanya with your name, event and the discrepancy, by Friday July 2nd, after that any discrepancies will be handled in the venue.  If discrepancies are not reported to the Bout Committee by the close of check-in, the information stands as presented.

We understand and appreciate the team unity that many of the teams have shown in the past. However, due to the size of many of the team events, we ask that one and only one team captain or representative come to the team event table when called.

The following procedures will be followed for teams:

  4. Higher seeded team would automatically be designated as the "winner of the coin flip" and assigned the 1-2-3 side (Match order: 3-6, 1-5, 2-4, 1-6, 3-4, 2-5, 1-4, 2-6, 3-5)
  5. Direct elimination from beginning of competition. Relay format, 9 bouts to a maximum score of 45 – increments of 5 touches or maximum time of 3 minutes for each bout.  Fence off for 3rd.
