Personal: A three-time Junior and Cadet World Team member, Spear competed at the first-ever Youth Olympic Games in 2010 where he earned a bronze medal in the mixed team event. Spear lives in upstate New York, but travels 170 miles each way to train at the Manhattan Fencing Center with Coach Sergey Isayenko.
